Tailored Programs For All Ages.

Do you have students interested in insects or ants? The natural environment is extremely diverse and exceedingly important.


Offering a wide range of tailor-made programs, work with us to achieve your educational requirements, engage your students, and bring focus to Australia's expansive natural environment and the international world of ants

View a diverse range of ants and learn their roles.

All of our programs come with a variety of visual displays containing different species.

Showcasing our local and nationally recognized species, learn the roles each play within their environment and the effect they have on our country's greater ecology.

Students can ask specific questions regarding the colonies or simply view them in a semi-natural habitat and observe their behaviors including feeding time!

All questions are welcome!


(please note ant metabolism and movement slows down over winter due to temperature)

Work with us to customize a presentation for your students to the level of information they pertain to: with a wide range of slide shows and videos interchangeable such as the following:


  1. Princess to Monarch. - Showcasing the standard life-cycle of ants. Starting from a single reproductive female(queen), growing to some of the largest and most complex social colonies in the world, learn the lesser-known details of how ants spread and grow inside their nests.
  2. Australian ants - Learn with us about our native ants. Australia is home to 1200+ species of ants, most of whom are only found on our continent or our close neighbors. Some of the worlds unique and largest ants are Australian natives.
  3. Ant Wars - Learn about different types of ants and the mechanisms by which they attack and defend their colonies. Ant super-colonies and territorial holdings. Bites, stings, acid, and explosions!
  4. Ants and their environment - Learn the different roles of ants within their natural habitats. Ants can change climates, help with seed dispersal, harvest, protect and farm other insects along with many other
  5. Oddities of Ants - Learn about all the species that have separated from the statuesque. Vampire ants, Trap jaws, Bull-ants, even Zombies!

If you look closely, there can be over a dozen species in a single backyard!

A great activity for all ages, ants can be found everywhere.

Give your students or educators a collection jar and see what ants can be found within a set area.

See ants and all the different insects/microbes that accompany them.

We will then identify the ants so your students learn about different species and have a great interaction!
